188 million. That's how many daily active users are currently on Snapchat, a decrease of 3 million from the previous quarter. Despite this dip, however, average revenue per user is up to $1.40 from $1.05 in 2017 and continues to increase. 


  • In the wake of its major 2018 redesign, Reddit engagement is going up. With the launch of autoplay video ads, inventory expansion onto 1st party mobile apps, and other campaign enhancements, some brands are now reporting improvements of 3-8x.
  • The 'message' button may be replacing the 'share' button in Facebook's News Feed. It's a limited test to make sharing more private and better connect the Feed with Messenger. If this change gets implemented, organic reach may truly become a thing of the past. 
  • Multiplayer AR games have come to Facebook Messenger. In another sign of Facebook's ambitious plans for this platform, it has rolled out a new feature that lets users play augmented reality games in a live video chat with up to six friends.
