Further reacting to the recent data breach, Facebook announced changes to ad targeting. Over the next six months, it will be removing Partner Categories, which enables third-party data aggregators to provide offline data to inform ad targeting. While this change will make Facebook targeting somewhat less powerful, the increased use of CRM lists to create custom and Lookalike audiences could easily combat deficiency. Read more.
